sample white room運営終了のお知らせ

みなさま、こんにちは。
sample white room管理人のアサリです。

突然ですが、当スペースの運営を2011年10月末をもって終了致します。
入居ビルの老朽化に伴う取り壊しが決定致しまして、
継続が不可能となったためです。

4年間という短い期間ではありましたが、
たくさんの方々との素敵な出会いがあり、
音楽をはじめ、現代アート、映画、演劇、ダンスなど、
さまざまな表現ジャンルの発表の場としてご活用いただき、
本当に濃厚な時間を過ごさせて頂きました。
関わって頂いたすべての皆様に感謝します！

階下のcafe sampleは、
現在の所在地から、より近鉄奈良駅に近い場所への移転が決まっております。
営業形態を少し変更して新店舗・新体制での再スタートです。
これまでのsampleの雰囲気を引き継ぎつつ、より濃密な空間としてお目見えする予定！
こちらもぜひご愛顧のほど、お願い致します。

white roomは残念ながら今回をもって運営を終了し、
管理人もsampleを離れますが、
しばし充電期間を頂いて、またこの地で活動を再開したいと思っております。
その際は何卒よろしくお願い致します。

繰り返しになりますが、今まで関わってくださった皆様に本当に感謝します。
このスペースは文字通り皆さんと一緒に作ってきた場所でした。

それではまた（わりと近い将来に）お会いしましょう！

Hello, everyone.
This is sample white room’s manager, Asari.

I realize this may seem sudden, but this space will close for business 　the end of October, 2011. The building we are located in will be torn down due to aging, and therefore we are unable to continue business here.

It was a short 4 years, however, it was full of many encounters with many wonderful people, and used for the presentation of many different genres of art, beginning with music, and growing to include modern art, movies, plays, dance, and more. It was a very fulfilling time for me. I am very grateful to everyone who was involved!

As for cafe sample on the first floor, it was been decided that it will be relocated to a place closer to Kintetsu Nara Station from where it is now. There will be a few changes to the cafe, and it will make a fresh start with a new place and new set-up.

It will inherit the atmosphere of how sample is now, and will debut an even richer environment for you to enjoy. We ask that you continue to visit the new café.

Unfortunately, white room will be closing for business at this time.
As manager, I will also be separating from sample but,after taking some time to recharge, I think I would like to begin working in this area again. Please look after me at that time.

I would just like to say again, that I am very grateful to everyone whohas been involved until now. This was literally a space that was built together with everyone.
